About Me
The artist behind the canvasFinding the extraordinary in a moment.
I’m Valerie, an artist and oil painter with a background in architecture and a passion for painting, art and travel.
My work is inspired by people, places, architecture and the atmosphere of a particular moment. I especially enjoy creating detailed, realistic paintings that tell a story and preserve something meaningful — whether it’s a person, a beloved place or a memory.
My background in architecture has strongly influenced the way I approach composition, perspective and detail, while my love of travel and art continues to inspire the subjects I paint.
Every painting is created by hand, with particular attention to light, atmosphere and the small details that make a scene feel personal and alive.
